What we collect
When you use the calculator, all inputs (rent amounts, assumptions) are processed locally in your browser. We do not store or transmit your rent details.
If you choose to submit your name and email address to receive a breakdown, we collect and store:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- The calculation inputs you entered (to personalise your email)
How we use your information
We use your email address solely to send you the breakdown and negotiation template you requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
We may occasionally send relevant updates about the tool (e.g. new features or guides). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
Third-party services
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails. Your email address is stored in Resend's infrastructure, which is subject to their own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We may use basic analytics to understand how the tool is used (e.g. how many people complete the calculator). This does not include personally identifiable information.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@renterkit.com.au.
